DETAILS
Direct-to-fabric (DTF) transfers are becoming a popular and efficient way to expand your business. A benefit of DTF is that it can be applied to many fabrics (such as cotton, polyester, blends, leather, spandex, and flex) and any color of fabric. No longer are you restricted to light colors! Each transfer produces vivid results that remain bright after multiple washes and are thinner, softer, and more durable than standard screen prints.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
DTF Transfer Application:
*Prepress garment for 5 seconds at 285 degrees (to get any moisture out of the garment)
*Place your design on your garment (film side up, image to shirt)
*Press at 285 degrees for 10 seconds, heavy pressure (hint, using a pressing pillow underneath helps with pressure)
*HOT PEEL - If the film does not want to release wait a few more seconds then try again or peel from another corner.
*Press a second time for 10 seconds. Be sure to place parchment paper on top of your design, this will prevent sticking to your heat plate. (We have personally had amazing results by using a spare blank unused shirt for the second press. Just slide the shirt over the top platen to only use one side.)
*A heat press should be used. A EasyPress or house iron will not achieve the desired results for the transfer to be adhered to item pressed on, thus resulting in the quality and longevity of the transfer staying on the item.
